Amazing election You alone are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of God, that you may proclaim the virtues of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.(1 Peter 2:9)Christians are a chosen race of God.I did not choose God, but God chose me.The Bible says that before the creation of the world, God has chosen us in Christ.It's not that I can give God anything to be worthy of election. Before I was born, before I did anything, God already chose me by His mercy and grace to be His child.We just say to God: Lord, I thank You that I am unworthy, that You have chosen me!What means does God use to carry out salvation?Of course, it is through people. Some people take you to the church. You listen to the preacher’s sermon, and your heart is moved, so you believe in the gospel. God also uses the radio waves of the gospel radio station. Many years ago, someone helped the government to interfere with foreign radio waves. He heard the gospel.The gospel is preached on the radio, and you are inspired to believe in the Lord. God also uses circumstances, such as difficulties, adversity, and even despair, to make you have nowhere to go. God sends people to preach the gospel to you, and you are saved.Therefore, we are saved by grace because of God’s unconditional love. Before the creation of the world, God chose us and allowed us to be saved through some wonderful channels and media.
